What we do
At Perigus Energy, we develop, build and operate renewable energy projects as a trusted partner that creates long-term value for society, nature, and our business.
Across the island of Ireland, we currently operate 20 onshore wind farms which produce 373 MW of clean electricity, powering an equivalent of 250,000 Irish homes. We have also entered the solar sector, with two solar farms in construction.

News
New name, same vision
We have been powering Irish homes for decades. Our history has taken us through many chapters, most recently as part of the Ørsted group. Since May 1, 2026, we are now operating under a new name: Perigus Energy.

Onshore wind
Onshore wind energy is the dominant source of renewable electricity in Ireland and one of the pillars of the country’s climate and energy policy.
Solar
Utility-scale solar is a rapidly growing part of Ireland’s power system. We have other solar projects at various stages of development too.
Battery storage
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are becoming a critical part of Ireland’s electricity system, helping in the transition towards better energy security for Ireland.
